Kingston Chemicals can service your commercial or academic needs for advanced materials.  Created at the University of Hull in 2000 to take advantage of the University's ongoing research into liquid crystals, which extends over a period of 60 years, we have produced innovations in now commercialised materials, such as cyanobiphenyls, difluoroterphenyls, derivatives of (S)-2-methylbutylphenol and biphenyl carboxylates, etc. Kingston Chemicals is a small business enterprise based in the city of Kingston upon Hull in the UK.  The company is engaged in the development and small scale production of advanced materials and intermediates (kg quantities), most notably ferroelectric liquid crystals. Some examples of available single LC compounds and organic intermediates are shown on the products page. The company is now actively developing ferroelectric liquid crystal mixtures.
